Will there be any game watch locations around downtown or the valley? 

 

We are looking for additional venues for Illini to meet for the upcoming 2024-25 season. 

If you know of a location or would like to help search for locations or orgainze events, please contact us. 

 

 

How do I become a Member? 

 

If you are a U of I alumnus living in LA County, you're a member!

 

Just make sure you update your profile with the Illinois Alumni Office to ensure that you are on our mailing list!

There are no membership dues! You can unsubscribe from emails at any time.

 

How long has there been an Illini Club in LA? 

For many years, the LA Illini Club has been organizing game watches, in-person sporting events, and mixers for a small group of alumni members who found us through friends, google search, or connecting at one of our events. Now we can officially reach all of the Illini in LA County! 

 

Are there any events this summer?

We will also be having a mixer once we determine a venue. If you have any suggestions or want to help organize the event, please fill out our Event Suggestion form. Our goal is to schedule events so that there will be something for everyone, whether you are interested in sports, culture, networking, or community service.

  

Does the club have a board?

We are working to create an official board for the club. If you are interested in volunteering some of your time, we would love to hear from you. You can fill out our Club Volunteer form and let us know your thoughts.  

 

Do you work with other LA alumni clubs?

Yes! We are part of the Big Ten Club of Southern California, which includes every school in the Big Ten. Now including UCLA and USC.
